Dummy Jim is based on the story of James Duthie, a profoundly deaf man from near Fraserburgh in Scotland. In 1951 he cycled alone to the arctic circle and back, and wrote a journal on his return. Duthie's story inspired both this album, and the film being made by Matt Hulse, which will feature this music. For more information please go to www.dummyjim.com
